We believe in the ability of young people to change the world, and that the children of today are the leaders of tomorrow. In the future they will value and promote all types of sustainability - environmental, social and economic, based on what they are learning today.
The inspiration and motivation to bring the Super Sustainables to life comes from our belief in the power of activating young people. This quote from Abraham Lincoln sums it up well:
With these powerful words come the responsibility to impart on our children the importance of living more sustainably, while respecting and preserving our beautiful earth for generations to come.
Our mission is to revolutionize the way children learn about sustainability, by making it as fun and entertaining as possible. So we decided to create a series of adventures to spark young readers’ imaginations and inspire them to make small changes that make a big difference.
We are excited to share with you our first illustrated musical book “The Super Sustainables: Facing the Drought.”
The Super Sustainables will provide positive examples and guidance for today’s children so that they grow up to be more sustainability-minded and resource-smart.

The earth was feeling abused and damaged by its human residents, so she called on Mother Nature to help her become healthy again. Mother Nature traveled around the earth to see firsthand the damage caused by the neglectful and indifferent humans, as well as the effects of climate change. She knew something had to be done…but couldn’t do it by herself. The only way to help the ailing planet was to release her special spirits, the “Power of Four,” and send them to Earth to grow up in human form.
Mother Nature’s plan had begun!
“Facing the Drought” shows why Mother Nature chose Arielle, Franco, Tara and Mizu for this mission and how they become the Super Sustainables. Find out how they discover their powers and deal with their first big challenge - the extreme drought in California.

We are two community-minded, do-gooders living in Santa Monica, California who are committed to promoting environmental, social and economic sustainability in our city, state, country and world. We are a solid team with over 30 years of experience in marketing and design.
As marketing and design experts, we have surrounded ourselves with opportunities to contribute our know-how to making a difference on local, regional and national levels. Living in Santa Monica, we have become acutely aware of how climate change is impacting the California lifestyle. Therefore, we made the decision to actively broaden our understanding about sustainability and resource management in the face of unprecedented drought and continued population growth. Going one step further, Albin participated in the Coro Executive Fellowship program which focused on water conservation and renewable energy. He is an active member of Climate Action Santa Monica and is currently working on his Sustainability Certification at UCLA.
Together, we have created the Super Sustainables in order to realize our purpose to support a resource-smart generation of environmental heroes. The future depends on our ability and willingness to mitigate the impacts of climate change so that the earth can continue to support all life.
